We are excited to announce that this year we will be offering Forest School sessions at Barton. Each term, two year groups will participate, starting this term with Year 4 and Year 6 on Monday, starting next week (9th September). 

Forest School provides children with the time and space to develop resilience, independence, and curiosity. Our main goal is to engage children with the natural environment while ensuring they have fun. Since Forest School is an all-year, all-weather activity, it is essential that children are dressed appropriately. Please can you ensure your child has a waterproof jacket, tracksuit bottoms, a t-shirt, and a jumper/hoody that can get muddy, along with old trainers or wellington boots. If this poses any difficulties to you, please let us know, and we will do our best to assist.
